KP is constantly reclaiming the underlying spirit of TCM for this and future generations. To bring TCM to a new generation, KP continues to pour new energy into its brand, integrating the breakthrough ideas of medicinal thought, product research development and marketing into its growing business.
 In 2005, KP began construction on a new facility, Biotanico, to expand the breadth of TCM’s reach. Biotanico is expanding into a wide range of exciting preventive health products. The state-of-the-art facility advances KP’s goal to fuse ancient knowledge with advanced production technology. The facility has passed ISO 9001:2000 and ISO 17025 certifications for laboratory competence and quality management and has received QAI Organic and Kosher certifications. 
Biotanico undertakes research to develop herbal-based products into convenient, functional products of various product lines including medical, nutritional and cosmetic product lines. In addition, the Biotanico facility has passed Green Building standards through enhancements for eco-friendliness, resource conservation and carbon emission reductions. It is Taiwan’s first and only factory to obtain this special distinction. KP takes it as a social duty to unite eco-friendly operations with an optimistic outlook for the future.
