 Functions:

 Activates blood, dissipates stagnation, regulates qi and stops pain

 Indications:

 Tightness in the chest, heart palpitations, shortness of breath, pale complexion, coldness in the four limbs, or chest Bi caused by heart vessel blockages, qi stagnation and blood stasis, and any kind of chest pain symptoms.

 This formula’s main indication is chest Bi pain caused by qi stagnation and coagulated blood. Dan shen moves and quickens blood to stop pain. San qi dissipates stasis, stops bleeding, opens collateral, eliminates swelling and stops pain. Bing pian’s aromatic nature opens orifices, guides herbs back to the heart, opens the yang and eases pain. This formula can transform stasis blockage, open the heart channel, and open orifices to stop pain.
